Jean-Marc Lilla, Senior Manager Organization Membership EMEA


Jean-Marc LillaJean-Marc LILLA joined the Internet Society in April 2009 as Senior Manager, Organization Membership EMEA (Europe, the Middle East, and Africa). Before joining the ISOC, Jean-Marc worked for 20 years at the Nestlé Headquarters in Vevey, Switzerland and in various countries where he held different positions.

Jean-Marc created a Centre of Innovation dedicated to "new technologies", while creating internally and externally a vast innovation network with various industry leaders, technical providers and personalities from the academic world. Jean-Marc actively participated in the formulation of the Group eBusiness strategy and also worked as an internal consultant and intelligence specialist on many innovative projects.

Prior to this mission Jean-Marc was responsible for the creation and development of the Nestlé Group's Intranet worldwide solution which is currently being used by more then 80 affiliate countries, he was also one of the creators of the 3Net internal community and workshops.

He commenced his career at Nestlé as an Economic Analyst in charge of Economic and Competitor Intelligence on behalf of the Executive Management team and the Board of Directors.

Before joining Nestlé and while studying, Jean-Marc was employed as a part-time teacher of Economy and Information Technology.

Jean-Marc holds a Master of Science degree in Economics from the University of Lausanne obtained at "Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales" (HEC) level. He is married with two sons and is a Swiss national born in 1959.
