Staff and AdvisorsMano Koilpillai, Director of FinanceMano joined the Internet Society in October 2009. She directs ISOC’s global finance and accounting functions. Mano has over 17 years of financial management experience in a variety of industries including progressively more responsible positions in non-profit organizations, a Fortune 50 company, and governmental units.
Prior to joining the Internet Society, Mano was Chief Financial Officer for the Washington Scholarship Fund (WSF), a non-profit that administers scholarships to low-income students. During her tenure at WSF, Mano was instrumental in obtaining successive clean financial audits for the organization, developing and improving internal controls and financial processes, and successfully improving and administering WSF’s human resources functions.
Mano’s experience also includes budgeting, financial systems and strategy at a major financial institution; financial consulting at a global accounting and tax firm; and budgeting and accounting at a dominant transportation company. She is currently serving as the volunteer Treasurer of the Board for Community Uplift International, a non-profit supporting an orphanage and community health and education projects in Hosur, India.
She holds a Masters in Business Administration, from George Washington University and is a Certified Public Accountant. Mano is based in Reston, USA |
